Jorge Lorenzo Guerrero was born IN PALMA DE MALLORCA, SPAIN, on May 4, 1987. He is the world champion in the 250cc class, and current MotoGP World Champion. His team is Yamaha.

In 2002, he became the youngest driver in history to participate in a Motocycle Grand Prix, the Grand Prix of Jerez in the 125cc class. Although in that year he didn't win, he did in 2003. It was in 2006 when he won his first world title. HE DID it again in 2007. With only twenty years old he had became double world champion. It helped him progress to the premier class MotoGP.

In MotoGP, HE was pole in his debut. Unfortunately, the following year a series of injuries didn't allowed him to work hard, but it gave him the strength to triumph the next year. With only twenty-three years old, he haS becOme the second Spanish motocycle rider to be world champion in the premier class. Today he's the world champion in the sport of motocycling.

Jorge Lorenzo's route has been surprising us every day to all those who are fond of this sport. Personally, I think we'll not see another like him for many years. Tremble the other riders!
