WHY STUDYING MUSIC?

BY CRISTINA EGOAVIL, 2BTO-D

Recently, many studies have shown that people who study music have a more developed brain.
On the one hand, these special studies increase our memory capacity because we use a part of the brain when we play music that we don't normally use. This helps us to memorize large texts, images and also it helps us with mathematics problems. This is because music stimulates the right part of our brain. Other advantage is that it increases the interactions among people.
On the other hand, these studies NEED to take a lot of time TO PRACTISE with our musical instrument, and of course YOU NEED to ATTEND a lot of classes. In addition, many people think that studying music is very easy, so lots of children that leAVE music classes do it because they think that it is undervalued.
In conclusion, I think that musical training is very important to develop the brain, specially during childhood.
