FAIR STALLS' CLOSURE AT 5 A.M.

BY MÓNICA MOVILLA, 2BTO-C

The closing of the fair stands at five o'clock in the morning

It has been explained in the newspaper a new option to avoid wasting energy in special dates, as in this case the fair of El Puerto de Santa María.
This measure consists of closing the stands at five o'cloc
k in the morning to save energy, and also to improve safety. It also means reducing the number of drunk people.
As an advantage, I think that this option will work for the saving of electricity, which is something necessary today.
But instead, I don't consider that it will work for security, because even if the stands are closed and they stop selling drinks, people will be there. Drinks can be bought in other places and the stands will open again a few hours later.
In addition, stallholders will lose money because of this.
In my opinion, I think this measure may work to avoid unnecessary expense, but it has more disadvantages than advantages, so I think that before you put it into practice you should think about all the consequences.
