As all Spanish people know, we are going through a difficult economic period of time where so many people don't have anything to eat or don't have a worthy house to live in, among other things.

It is clear to me, and to almost all Spanish people, that it is an inhuman behavior. We all are aware about the situation, but I think we could get over this poor time taking some actions, such us: 

Reducing the number of politicians in the government. There are too many people working in our government that are dispensable for the Administration.

Not wasting money. The government throw away a lot of money during the year as doing reforms or changing the way of studying.

Promoting the touring. We have very beautiful and wonderful places in our country. The government must advertise about them in the other world's states to improve the touring.

It is clear that we are in a very hard finantial time, but we can't fall down. We have to be strong and face the situation. Someday, we will get past this situation.

SHOULD UNIFORMS BE OBLIGATORY AT SCHOOL?

I think that uniforms shouldn’t be obligatory in levels like ESO or Bachillerato, but they can be really useful with children who are in primary school.

Firstly, uniforms can help parents who have little children at primary school because they don’t have to wash up many clothes. Also, wearing a uniform is cheaper than wearing different clothes everyday.

Secondly, uniforms are useful in levels like primary because all children look the same and they can’t BE BULLLIED BY otherS because of their appearance. In levels such as ESO or Bachillerato students are more mature, so they won’t discriminate their mates. For instance, if they dress up with clothes that they are keen on, they can express their personality.

In conclusion, uniforms can be helpful, but only in some situations. We should know when students may wear a uniform or not.

WHAT MOTIVATES ME? WHAT INSPIRES ME?

To me, to get success is really important to be motivated and inspired by someone or something. It's just not that, without hardworking and sacrifice there is no possible success.

What truly motivates me is the satisfaction of doing things well and the endless pursuit of perfection. I deeply ADMIRE people who can do great things for the world with any resources or less than other people.

People's recognition about my work also motivates me. When I give all my effort into something or someone, I like to feel that it IS really WORTHWHILE.

If you want to succeEd, you must work as hard and best as you can to fulfill your goal. Also, find a motivation that helps you wake up every morning and say "I can and I'm doing it".

DIFFERENT GENERATIONS LIVING TOGETHER?

It is a fact that nowadays different generations of a family live together. I do think this can be profitable, because we can learn a lot about all the members in the family.

First of all, we can be instructed by people who are not on our same wavelenght. In particular, old people usually tell their children interesting things they know, stories they have lived, or the way they have lived their childhood.

Secondly, living with other people will help us respect different points of view. Although we can consider the age difference a disadvantage, I think this can help us be open-minded and grow as a person.

 In conclusion, I would say living whith other generations is beneficial, as we can share our skills and knowledge with other people and we can learn to be tolenrant.

EBOLA VIRUS: MISIONERS REPATRIATION... WELL DONE?

The most interesting but also alarming topic currently mentioned is the Ebola virus in Spain. Some people think that the health minister, Ana Mato, is the culpable of the nurse contagion because of the infected misioners repatriation. Do you want to know my opinion? Keep reading... 

First of all, I think that the repatriation of both people infected by this virus was highly recommended, as the patient can receive a better treatment here because of the Spanish infrastructures, and the access to be treated with several possible cures. 

On the other hand, I think that the hospital and health professionals were not prepared enough. Although Spanish infrastructures are better than African ones, they weren't as prepared as they were expected to be. Also, the people who work in hospital haven't received practical formation to face this problem. 

So all in all, I think that the repatriation was a good idea, but some important aspects have to be improved to avoid this situation in a near future.

COFFEE, MY OPINION

It was many years ago that coffee became very important to us. People usually speak about liking a good stimulant to have enough energy in the morning to go to work. Despite that, I think that coffee can be unhealthy for you ,  and it had bad effects on you, but if you drink it sparingly, it can be good for you.

Firstly, coffee can be dangerous. If you drink it too much, it can give you a headache. People usually drink it to stay awake because it stimulates your brain. Too much can lead you TO insomnia, indigestion and high blood pressure. 

On the other hand, people who like having a balanced diet have to drink it only a few times because it has got antioxidants that are good for your body. 

In conclusion, I would say that coffee can have bad effects on you if you drink it frequently ,  but if not, it is a very important drink in your life.

WHY DO AFRICAN IMMIGRANTS WANT TO COME TO SPAIN?

Nowadays, economy is unbalanced between all countries around the world; a little part of them has the majority of the money WHILE the other part has not even enough food to survive. Because of this, people from the "worst countries" have to look for the way to survive.

Some time ago in Ceuta, an incident happened that has relation with the idea of the first pragraph. When they tried to get into the city of Ceuta, a group of Spanish policemen attempted to stop the action of those immigrants. For example, the policemen shot with rubber balls and other actions that MADE an attempt on lives of immigrants. These actions should be forbidden because they are people like the ones who live in the rich country. The only difference is that they go abroad with their baggage empty.

So all in all, every single person has to be respected without distinguishing his or her ethnicity, economic situation or religious believes.

LEARNING LANGUAGES ABROAD

Many people believe that the best way to learn a foreign language is to study it in the country in which it is used, whereas other people think that it is not true.

On the one hand, going to another country is very expensive, not only the flight but staying there too. At first, you do not know anyone, and it is difficult to understand people. In addition, you do not have to go to another country because you can learn a foreign language in an academy or on your own on THE Internet.

On the other hand, when you stay in another country, you learn the language quickly because you get in touch with people and their culture. You meet new people , you can visit new places, and so on.

In conclusion, learning languages in other countries has more advantages than disadvantages, so it is better.

THE REUNITED KINGDOM

Last 18th of Sepetember,2014 a national referendum was held in Scotland. I’m going to talk about how this recent attempt of freedom was, and what it meant to me.

Firstly, we should know that this fact is reasonable due to past attempts in 1979 and 1997, and for its independent history before the United Kingdom was formed.

However, even with the surprisingly amount of people who participated (84’5%) , the answer to the question ‘Should  Scotland be an independent country?’ was NO, achieving only 55’3% of votes.

Speaking for myself, it has been the right decision because the consequences of a ‘yes’ vote would have considerably affected its economy, finances, citizenship, and relationship with the UE and NATO, all for worse.

Out of Scotland, the world has been fed up with debates, news, jokes, etc. Even the groundskeeper Willie from ‘The Simpsons’ had a few things to say. In Spain, it was compared step by step with Cataluña’s independence, showing us new points of view.

Nevertheless, I’m glad to see how people in our days ARE able to solve this kind of things democratically, and I expect the same from Cataluña.

SUMMER

I like summer the best. We cook and eat in the garden, and we ALSO go to the beach. I love doing some water sports with friends or going shopping with my cousins.

ON Saturdays morning, I go surfing and waterskiing, and I sometimes go sailing with my brother. I like swimming a lot.

Summer here is from June to September, so we don't have to go to school and we can spend all the day with out family and friends.

My English friend thinks that this is very funny. She thinks it's always warm and sunny here in Spain, but in December and January it's sometimes cold and wet.

OUR WORLD TODAY

To begin with, there isn't much time in the world nowadays. Why? I think that everybody lives with a lot of stress , and this is the cause why people can´t think. Currently, homicides, robberies, and suicides are around the world. Countries like Colombia, Venezuela, Russia, Brazil and USA are countries where there are many crimes. My opinión is that people must live with more tranquility and they WON'T be too stressed for too much time. If people lived without any stress and they thought their problems more, they wouldn´t commit crimes. The world is too crazy. People must be more peaceful. If we live smiling and with peace, things will be better.

Robyn Rihanna Fenty is a Barbadian singer. She is my idol. She is a model, singer, fashion designer, composer and cultural ambassador. Also, she is a philanthropist, and I appreciate that a lot. I love her songs which are like reggae, dancehall, dance, R&B, pop, dubstep, and soul. These are musical styles that I like. Rihanna was born in Saint Michael, Barbados, one of the islands of Central America. I´ve always wanted to visit this island, apart from Jamaica. One of my idols is also Bob Marley, who is also an idol for Rihanna. I like the image she shows to the audience. She transmits that she is brave and she doesn´t matter what people think about her. Rihanna also transmits that she is a strong person. My favourite song of her is Umbrella.

The biometric system is a system based on recognition by a personal characteristic (e.g. fingerprint) that can be recognized or verified automatically.

By the end of 2014, the security company Olympia, will try to have a biometric identification system based on facial recognition and voice recognition that could be used for financial transactions or to access social networks.

To do this, the company will launch a software package that will be integrated into Microsoft operating systems so you won’t have to enter a password or user name for access. 

This wouldn’t be the only use, it could also link to security systems to eliminate the use of magnetic strips or bands. It will allow TO entry through facial scanning or voice message. For example, in the case of a financial transaction over the web, the user would just require facial recognition or voice identification to approve the purchase.

Another way a biometric system can be used is in security. With tools such as those that have been developed by Olympia already, these systems can be used at airports, sporting events or even in the streets by biometric cameras that can identify people who appear on blacklists for whatever reason.

The Biometric system is the future!!

According to a newspaper from Hon-Kong, Song-Thaek was sentenced to death for corruption and treason, among other crimes, and he was rated as ''scum'' by his nephew.

In this country, political prisioners executions are usually carried out with firearms, and this type of punishment used with Jung Song-Thaek is reserved for the execution of the most hated in society.

Upon hearing such news, I think the ordinary people today don't realize that people like this with such power do what they want... no one realizes that we could be facing another '' Hitler''?

As you know, Adolfo Suárez, who was the first president of Spain after Franco's dictatorship, DIED last 23th of March. And I have observed that now, all people recognize his work. On the TV, all people say that he was the best president that our country has had. He looked for the best for Spain, that he had arrived AT the exact moment. But the true is that when he was ruling, anybody helped him and, in spite of the fact that he HAD won election. Even the other members of his politician party left him. In my opinion, it was because, when he was president in Spain people didn't accept all the changes that he did. He want to transform Spain into a democratic country. MALAYSIAN AIRLINES' LOST PLANE

Last day, the Malaysian ailines company found with THEIR satellites some parts of the 

airplane that was lost in the ocean, near the Australian Island. The company and other countries HAD BEEN looking for the airplane during a period of two weeks like a blind person, without data or any information, only with intuition and hope. They think that it is impossible TO find survivors, so the company count with around 200 deaths, incluiding airplane tripulation. It isn´t 100% SURE that it is the parts of any airplane, but some information say that the airplane is in the bottom of the ocean, but no one knows. The familIES of victims are starting to lose hope, and theY are preparing to hear bad news about the airplane.

In the last few years, the transportation cost has risen. For this reason, it has appeared a new cheaper way to travel, it is called ¨Blablacar¨; to me, this is a very interesting system.

This new method of transportation operates as follows: the person that wants to make a trip types all the details about the trip he wants to make on the internet, place, time, date, etc. Another person that's making the same journey by car offerS you to go with him/her. You pay for an amount of money the driver has established previously. This way, the person that wants to make a trip, pays less money than a train or bus ticket; and the driver uses that money for petrol, and IT is cheaper than going alone.

I think that it is a very economical way to travel and also it illustrates cooperation among all citizens; but this way of travelling is a problem for other businesses like train companies. Also, it can be dangerous as you don't know the person who will travel with you, so you have to be careful when you have to choose your companion.

In conclusion, this new system has many advantages, but also disadvantages; Nevertheless, it is an alternative way of travelling, which many people find very useful and economic.

Many people believe that unemployment today is higher than before, but is this really true? In my opinion, unemployment rate has changed much.

In the past, people had to travel abroad because they did not have jobs and they could not support their families. So, they left the country in the order to find new opportunities. Nowadays, nobody can find job even if they go to another country.

Currently, unemployment has changed. There are more and more  people who can not find jobs anywhere. This economic crisis is affecting a lot of people in a negative way. Because of the crisis some people lose their houses as a result of lack of money. 

In conclusion, I think that economic crisis should disappear so that can have a job and, people would not have a hard time.

To my mind, nowadays unemployment is a direct result of the economic crisis we are living.

INMIGRANTS

Nowadays, economy is unbalanced between all countries around the world; a little part of them has the majority of the money when the other part has not even enough food to survive. Because of this, people form the “worst countries” haVE to look for the way to survive.

Some time ago in Ceuta, an incident happened that has relation with the idea OF the first paragraph.

Immigrants from Africa wanted to jump the fence that separates Spain and Morocco. When they tried to get into the city of Ceuta, a group of Spanish policemen attemped to stop the action of those immigrants. They used tear gas and weapons that shoot rubber bullets to force the African people to return to their countries. This makes an attempt on immigrants’ liVes. These actions should be forbidden because they are people like the ones who live in the rich country, the only difference is that they go abroad with their pockets empty.

In conclusion, every single person has to be respected without distinguishing his or her ethnicity, economic situation or religious beliefs.

THE BEST LEAGUE OF THE WORLD

In Spain, the final of football league is very interesting for football fans. This league has three best teams with a finishing season very equaled and difficult to be the champion.
Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid are the most representative teams and they aspire to be the champion of league in two months. But their coaches have some difficulties to be the champion. Also, those three teams are competing in the European tournament, Uefa Champions League. Although those teams are very good, I think that they aren’t in their best moments. I believe that Real Madrid can have more problems to win the league, because they have less points than Barcelona and Atletico de Madrid.
In conclusion, I believe that for every football fan, the Spanish final league can be very interesting even if you are fan of another club.

ZUMBA

Nowadays, there are many ways to get fit without having to practice difficult exercises in a gym. Zumba is becoming a very fashionable sport in our society.

Zumba is a dance focused on the one hand to maintain a healthy body. On the other hand, it contributes to develop, fortify and give flexibility to the body by mixed dances following a set of aerobic routines.

In my opinion, it´s more fun than other exercises like weighlifting. Also, you can practice at wathever age becAuse there are different methods as Zumba gold, Zumba basicS, or Zumba step among others.

Clearly, practising Zumba will make you forget the stress for a few hours. If you practice this dance with a good diet, you helth will improve a lot.

In conclusion, if you want to have a good physical appearance and have fun while practising sport, dance Zumba and you´ll have a better mood and a happier life!

LUXURY HOTELS FOR PETS

Nowadays, a relevant topic in our sociecity is the excessive care and attention to pets. In a lot of cases, this fact is taken to the extreme: elegant pet clothes, caviar for dogs,etc. But the most astonishing example TO me is the "pet palace".

The pet palace is a pet hotel which is considerably better than a basic kennel, which is generally composed of several cages and a large stock of tinned food. The hotel pet takes animal accomodation to a completely new level. This type of hotel is very famous in Japan.

People choose this option when they travel and they don´t know where to leave their pets.This is due to the fact that they know their pets will be living in luxury at a five stars hotel. The hotel consists of 170 rooms for up to 250 animals, varying from a relatively standard cage at the modest rate of 28$ a night, to an incredible 1000$ luxury suite. This is just about twice the price of a room at a mind-range hotel for humans. If you combine this with the facilities offered, such as veterinary care, hairdressing services, exercise field, pet gym, the owners will be able to relax on the beach , comforted by the hotel´s slogan: "Enjoy your travel overseas knowing that your pet is in good hands".

In my opinion,pets are having much more than their owners!

I would like to say that this type of place is an absolutely nonsense, because nowadays there are a lot of people which die due to hunger while a lot of animals are eating caviar and going to the hairdresser.Nowadays people waste their money without control, not thinking about the others.

THE FUTURE OF SCHOOLS

Many people believe that in the future schools won't have books and teachers, but is this really true? In my opinion, schools are always changing because of technology.

In the future, Internet connections will be the biggest protagonists, though they will have taken all necessary steps so that teenagers surf without any danger. Books and tests will disappear because students will no longer need them as they will find everything they need in computers.

What's more, I think that there will be activities in which the students will work with other schools in a cooperative way although they don't know each other. Absent students will be able to follow the class on-line, and in addition, the guardianship can be on-line too.

In conclusion, I think that education of now and future will not be the same as the traditional one, because technology has acquired more importance than usual.

GOOGLE GLASS

Google Glass is a wearable device in the shape of glasses with a small screen and a camera at the right top of it developed by Google. The good thing about it is that you can communicate with the internet, take pictures, record videos, and do many other functions via voice commands. From my point of view, it's fascinating, as I see it as a huge step for technology. It can be interesting to do everything you can do with a smartphone hands-free.

On the other hand, there's always the price issue. It is said that the price won't go below $500 in 2014 - which is far from what most people can afford - and won't be worth it because of the lack of apps at the beggining.

In any case, I'm quite convinced it will be very successful by the year 2016 - if there aren't loads of competitors by then.

You'll learn a lot of grammar, vocabulary, expreSSions, and even you can travel to foreign places in which you can understand everything.

So finally, I advise you a bilingual school for your children and their great education.

I think people´s health all over the world is getting worse, because everybody is eating more and more junk food. A lot of people eat at work, and this is not comfortable, and people decide to eat something quickly, normally fast food. But the junk food could have some advantages, for example its taste. It is cheap and easy to buy.

On the other hand, it´s true that most of the aspects related to fast food are negative.

Advertising is responsible for the increasing of junk food.

Finally, as a conclusion, i think that it is convenient to invest in sports and in a good nutrition to have a healthy country. You will also feel good and pleased with yourself.

According to experts, one TIP for everybody is walking everyday and doing many other activities such as using stairs instead of lifts, walking to work or school, drinking a litre of water every day, and deciding what type of food we want to eat carefully.

PEOPLE WHO DON'T RECYCLE SHOULD BE FINED

Many people ought to be fined for not recycling. In my opinion, policemen should fine those people who don´t look after the environment.

In the past, people didn´t recycle because they weren´t aware of the importance of recycling. Furthermore, people didn´t throw so much rubbish and they used to reuse bottles or clothes. To my mind, this implies that in the past there was less pollution. Today, people are throwing more rubbish than before, but they recycle more and more because it´s essential to get a better environment.

In conclusion, I agree with recycling paper, plastic and glass. I also think that people shouldn´t throw so much rubbish.

ABORTION: MY OPINION

In mi opinion, the new law of abortion that the goverment wants to impose is incredible. With this new law, only raped women can abort. I can’t believe a law like this can be in democracy! Aborting is a decision that only women can choose, not the government, because it’s their life. People who have aborted are not killers. Even sometimes, abortion is the best option. For example, if a mother knows that her future son is going to be born with a rare disease and they both are going to suffer. Maybe aborting is the more appropRiate option. Aborting is a right, and the government mustn’t deny it, because we live in a democratic country.

THE GOLDEN BALL

Once again, the AWARD of the Gold Ball creates controversy. This year it has been awarded to Cristiano Ronaldo, who competed with Messi and Riveri (two other great players).

Some complain about the adversiting campaign for Cristiano, but the truth is that all the players have their own campaign, so they can not say that Cristiano took advantage of it.

Futhermore, Riveri won everything or almost everything with his team, making a perfect season. However, people who choose them have their own liking and preferences, they rate things concretely and reach a conclusion or opinion which is the key to say who´s the winner.

Football is a sport with millions of fans, and it´s very difficult to reach an agreement, so this award will still be controversial no matter who wins.

BULLFIGHTS: MY OPINION

Bullfights are known throughout the world. In that way ,  enough people coincide that it is a mistreatment to animals: they're cruelly humilliated.

They consider the bull strong and dangerous, and the one that the bullfighters say to face in equality of conditions. However, it already comes disoriented and stunned to the bullring, surely because it has been submitted to a confinement in a small place and in the dark. It is often abused before heading out to the bullring to lose some of its strength from the horns, bumps, etc..

All these actions are done to debilitate the bull. Though, when it goes out to the bullring, it seems to be full of fierceness. It tries to jump the barrier because it sees itself dazzled by the light and disoriented by people's shouts.

In the bullfights, bulls are murdered, but they are not alone: the ill-treated animals, the horses that the horsebreakers use, also suffer pain with the onslaughts of the bulls. In fact, these animals die after taking part in 4 or 5 bullfights.

The most common argument that is given for the survival of the bullfight is to give the bull a worthy death.

I was saying to myself, and I say to myself, that if the bull made sense of dignity, he might not agree that his death makes an amusing show. I understand that bulls, as the rest of the irrational animals, may not make sense of dignity, since they may not have sense of either the good or the evil, either the justice or the cruelty. But what undoubtedly they have is an aptitude to suffer and to feel pain, and with this capacity, if they could choose the way of dying. They would choose without hesitation the death that was causing neither pain nor agitation, nor suffering. That is to say, everything opposite to death that is given to them. By this way, that I believe it is an indecent argument on the part of people who support bullfighting.

I believe that it should disappear in the whole world. I respect the culture, but this seems to me that it exceeds to any manifestation of custom.

NEW TAXES ON CULTURE

Some months ago, I read in the newspaper that the GOVERNMENT had decided to increase the taxes ON some cultural products, such as the cinema, theatre or any live show. The Minister of Culture said that in that period of time all the economical sectors had to contribute to get out of the economical crisis. From my point of view, this measure is absolutely wrong, like REDUCING BUDGET FOR the education system. If you want to have a developed country, you can't make the accesS to the materials that help improve the education more difficult for people. If I were the Minister of Culture, I would subsidize all the things that contribute to the develOpment of the mentality of people because it is a investment that will return more money in the future.
